How to Fix F7E6 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Unplug the washer from the power outlet to ensure safety.
- Turn off the hot and cold water supplies and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Carefully tilt the washer forward and prop it up securely to access the bottom panel.
- Locate the drive motor and remove the drive belt from the motor and tub pulleys.
- Disconnect the wire harness connected to the motor and remove the bolts holding the motor in place.
- Install the new motor (W10836348), secure it with the bolts, and reconnect the wire harness.
- Reinstall the drive belt, then carefully lower the washer back to its upright position and reconnect power and water.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
