  1. Shut off the water supply to the dryer and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the back panel to access the water inlet valve (part 00422244).
  3. Check the water inlet hoses for any kinks or blockages. Ensure the house water supply is turned on.
  4. Disconnect the hoses and the electrical connector from the valve.
  5. Remove the screws mounting the valve to the dryer chassis and replace it with the new valve.
  6. Reconnect the hoses and electrical plug, then turn the water supply back on and check for leaks.
  7. Reinstall the back panel, plug in the dryer, and begin a cycle to confirm the fix.
  8. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
