⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: F2 Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: There is a thermistor error.
How to Fix F2 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Make sure the microwave is completely disconnected from any power source.
- Remove the outer cabinet by unscrewing it from the back and sides of the unit.
- Locate the thermistor. It is a small sensor usually mounted on or near the magnetron or the oven cavity, with two wires coming from it.
- Unplug the wire connector from the thermistor and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Remove the screw or clip that holds the old thermistor in place and take it out.
- Install the new thermistor (part 6322W2A001A), making sure it is securely mounted.
- Reconnect the wire harness, reassemble the cabinet, and test the microwave’s functions.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
