  2. Locate the heater NTC sensor, which is typically mounted on the heating element housing at the back of the dryer.
  3. To access it, you will likely need to remove the rear panel of the dryer.
  4. Disconnect the wiring from the sensor and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
  5. Remove the screw that secures the sensor and take out the old sensor.
  6. Place the new NTC sensor in the same position and fasten it with the screw.
