How to Fix F63 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Turn off the circuit breaker for the washer and unplug it from the wall for safety.
- Remove the top panel of the washing machine by unscrewing the screws at the back.
- Locate the main control board, which is typically housed in a plastic casing.
- Take a photo of the wire connections to the control board to ensure you reconnect them correctly. Carefully disconnect all the wiring harnesses.
- Remove the screws or release the tabs holding the control board in place and carefully remove the old board.
- Install the new control board, making sure it is securely mounted. Reconnect all the wiring harnesses according to your photo.
- Replace the top panel and screw it back into place. Restore power to the washer and run a check cycle to check if the software error is resolved.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
