How to Fix F8 E2 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Open the dispenser drawer and press the release tab to remove it completely from the washer.
- Separate the different components of the drawer, such as the siphon cover and inserts.
- Thoroughly wash all parts of the dispenser drawer with warm, soapy water and a soft brush to remove any built-up detergent or fabric softener residue.
- Clean the inside of the dispenser housing on the washer itself, paying attention to the area above where residue can accumulate.
- Rinse all parts with clean water and dry them completely before reassembling the drawer.
- Slide the clean dispenser drawer back into the washer until it clicks into place.
- Run a rinse cycle to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
