⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: E76 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: NTC temperature for the cold water valve is over the limits.
How to Fix E76 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Check that your cold water supply hose is connected to the ‘Cold’ water inlet on the back of the washer.
- Ensure the cold water faucet is turned on completely and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Verify that the water coming from your cold water supply is actually cold. If you have a plumbing issue causing warm water in the cold line, this error can occur.
- Straighten any kinks in the cold water hose that could be restricting flow.
- Disconnect the cold water hose from the washer and check the small filter screen inside the inlet port for any debris or sediment, and clean it if necessary.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
- Check for simple blockages (lint screen, drain path, or filter) and clean anything you find.
Still Not Working?
