⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: E59 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: No tacho signal for 3 seconds.
How to Fix E59 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the washer from its power supply by unplugging it from the wall.
- Remove the service panel, typically at the rear of the washer, to access the drive motor.
- Locate the wire harness that connects from the motor to the motor control board. The tachometer signal travels through this harness.
- Inspect the harness for any damage and ensure it is securely plugged in at both the motor and the control board.
- The tachometer is an internal component of the drive motor and is not sold separately.
- If the wiring is intact, the entire drive motor must be replaced to fix the faulty tachometer.
- Install the new motor, reconnect the drive belt and wiring, reassemble the washer, and test for proper operation.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
