⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: E4 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: The washer is out of balance.
How to Fix E4 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Press the pause button to stop the cycle and wait for the door to unlock.
- Open the door and redistribute the laundry load, moving items around so they are spread evenly inside the drum.
- Avoid washing single heavy items, like a bath mat, by themselves. Add a few towels to balance the load.
- Check if the washer is level by placing a bubble level on top of the machine. Check front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Adjust the washer’s leveling feet at each corner by screwing them up or down until the machine is stable and level.
- Tighten the lock nuts on the leveling feet against the base of the washer to secure them in place.
- Close the door and resume the wash cycle and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
