Problem: Sensor error – motor sensor (hall sensor) malfunction

How to Fix SE Error

Disconnect the washer from power. This error points to a faulty motor Hall Sensor.
You will need to access the motor at the back or bottom of the washer. Remove the rear service panel.
Remove the large central bolt holding the rotor to the drive shaft. Pull the rotor off.
The stator (the part with copper windings) is now exposed. The Hall Sensor is a small component mounted on it. Disconnect the wire harnesses.
Unbolt the stator, and replace the Hall Sensor (or the entire stator assembly).
Reassemble in reverse order.
