Error Code: SE Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: Sensor error – motor sensor (hall sensor) malfunction
How to Fix SE Error
- Disconnect the washer from power. This error points to a faulty motor Hall Sensor.
- You will need to access the motor at the back or bottom of the washer. Remove the rear service panel.
- Remove the large central bolt holding the rotor to the drive shaft. Pull the rotor off.
- The stator (the part with copper windings) is now exposed. The Hall Sensor is a small component mounted on it. Disconnect the wire harnesses.
- Unbolt the stator, and replace the Hall Sensor (or the entire stator assembly).
- Reassemble in reverse order.
