How to Fix 5-2 Error

This error indicates the control board did not register the door being opened between cycles. First, ensure you are opening the door for at least 5 seconds after a cycle completes.
If the problem continues, the door latch assembly’s microswitch may be faulty. Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
Access the door latch assembly by removing the inner door panel.
Test the microswitches on the latch assembly for continuity with a multimeter as you open and close the latch. If a switch fails, replace the entire door latch assembly.
Reassemble and restore power.
