How to Fix F1E5 Error

Unplug the dryer. This code indicates a communication failure between the two main electronic boards.
Inspect the wiring harness connecting the main control board (at the back) and the user interface board (in the console). Reseat the connectors at both ends.
If wiring is intact, the fault is with one of the boards. It is often recommended to replace the User Interface board first.
If the error remains after replacing the UI board, the main control board will need to be replaced.
