How to Fix E3 Error

Unplug the dryer and perform a full vent cleaning, from the back of the unit to the outside of the house. A clogged vent is a primary cause of this error.
Locate the thermal fuse on the heater box or blower housing. Test it for continuity with a multimeter. If it has blown (no continuity), replace it.
If the fuse is good, test the thermistor. An out-of-spec thermistor can cause incorrect temperature readings, leading to this fault.
