How to Fix dC1 Error

This is a door lock error. First, open and firmly shut the washer door.
If the error persists, the door lock switch has failed. UNPLUG THE WASHER.
For a front-load washer, access the lock by peeling back the door boot gasket around the latch area and removing the mounting screws. For a top-load washer, remove the top control console to access the lock.
Disconnect the wire harness from the old lock, remove it, and install the new one. Reassemble the machine.
