How to Fix tE Error
- Turn off power to the unit.
- This error usually requires removing the dishwasher from the cabinet to access the sump area underneath.
- Locate the thermistor (temperature sensor), which is inserted into the sump assembly.
- Measure resistance with a multimeter if possible (should be ~11k ohms at room temp); if open or shorted, replace the thermistor.
- Ensure wiring connections to the thermistor are tight and free of corrosion.
