Problem: Gas Valve Motor Error. The main board does not detect the gas valve coils opening or the igniter functioning correctly.
How to Fix Dryer Error
- Unplug the dryer.
- Remove the front panel to access the gas burner assembly.
- Test the two solenoid coils for continuity.
- Test the igniter for resistance (approx 50-400 Ohms).
- If coils and igniter are good, inspect the flame sensor.
- Replace the defective component (usually the solenoid coils).
