Error Code: Dryer Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Humidity Sensor Error. The control board detects a short or open circuit in the moisture sensor bars located inside the drum near the lint filter.
How to Fix Dryer Error
- Open the door and locate the two metal bars near the lint filter.
- Clean the bars with vinegar and a cloth to remove fabric softener residue.
- If code persists, unplug dryer and remove the top panel.
- Trace the wire harness (usually orange) from the sensor bars to the main board.
- If wiring is intact, replace the moisture sensor bar assembly and harness.
