Error Code: Dryer Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: No Power to the heater (Electric models only). The control board detects that the dryer is not receiving the full 240V required to run the heating element, usually due to a tripped breaker or loose wire.
How to Fix Dryer Error
- Go to the home circuit breaker panel.
- Flip the dryer breakers (usually a double-pole breaker) fully OFF, wait 10 seconds, then flip them ON.
- Check the terminal block on the back of the dryer for loose screws or burnt wires.
- Test the outlet voltage with a multimeter; it must read 240V across the two hot legs.
