- Check wiring harness connections between defrost control and heater/thermostat components.
- Reseat all connectors firmly. Clean pins with electrical contact cleaner.
- If board shows visible damage or relay tests faulty: disconnect all wiring harnesses.
- Remove mounting screws securing defrost control board. Extract old board.
- Install new defrost control board using OEM part DA47-00237A. Transfer all connectors carefully.
- Secure mounting screws to specified torque. Restore power and monitor defrost cycle timing and operation to ensure proper ice melt and temperature recovery.
