How to Fix Dishwasher Error

  1. Unplug dishwasher and turn off water supply valve.
  2. Verify household water supply valve is fully open. Check supply hose for kinks or blockages.
  3. Remove lower access panel. Disconnect water supply hose from inlet valve.
  4. Clean inlet screen filter inside valve port with toothbrush and vinegar solution. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Reconnect supply hose hand-tight plus 1/4 turn.
  6. Access inlet valve assembly. Test solenoid coil resistance: 500-1500Ω. Replace if open/shorted.
  7. Disconnect wiring harness. Remove mounting screws. Extract old valve assembly.
  8. Install new inlet valve assembly using OEM part DD61-00001A. Secure mounting hardware.
  9. Reconnect water supply hose and wiring harness.
  10. Restore water and power. Start cycle and verify dishwasher fills to proper level within 90 seconds.
