How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Unplug dishwasher and verify household voltage at outlet is 110-120V AC using multimeter.
- Remove lower access panel to access main control board and heater connections.
- Inspect board near heater relay for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or charred traces.
- Test heater element resistance per HE procedure. Replace heater if open circuit.
- Test thermal fuse continuity on heater housing. Replace if open circuit.
- If heater and fuse test good but error persists: replace main control board using OEM part DD92-00001A.
- Transfer all connectors to new board carefully. Secure mounting screws to 4 in-lbs torque.
- Reconnect heater wiring. Reinstall access panel.
- Restore power. Enter diagnostic mode to verify heater relay operation.
- Run Sanitize cycle while monitoring water temperature with external thermometer to confirm proper heating.
