How to Fix Dryer Error

UNPLUG dryer from electrical power.
Press each button on control panel firmly 5 times to dislodge debris or contaminants.
Remove control panel assembly: release retaining clips or remove screws, carefully disconnect ribbon cable from main board.
Inspect ribbon cable and connectors for moisture, corrosion, or physical damage. Clean contacts with isopropyl alcohol and soft brush.
Test button matrix continuity using multimeter per service manual pinout diagram.
If short circuit persists after cleaning, or ribbon cable is damaged, replace main control board using OEM part DC92-01003A.
Transfer all connectors to new board. Secure board with mounting hardware.
Reconnect ribbon cable firmly until seated. Reassemble control panel. Restore power and verify all buttons respond correctly.
