How to Fix Dryer Error
- UNPLUG dryer from electrical power immediately.
- Remove lint filter and clean thoroughly under running water. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- Inspect entire exhaust path: disconnect vent hose from dryer and wall, remove all lint blockages from hose and exterior vent cap.
- Remove rear panel. Clean blower wheel, housing, and heating chamber of lint/debris using vacuum and soft brush.
- Test exhaust thermistor resistance per tE procedure. Replace using OEM part DC34-00040A if reading is inaccurate.
- Verify thermal fuse continuity on heater housing. Replace if open circuit (indicates prior overheating event).
- Check drum seals for excessive wear that could restrict airflow. Replace if damaged.
- Reassemble all components. estore power. Run cycle with exhaust vent disconnected temporarily to verify strong airflow before reconnecting vent system.
