Problem: Overheating error; exhaust temperature exceeds safety limit due to restricted airflow or sensor fault

How to Fix Dryer Error

• UNPLUG dryer from electrical power immediately.
• Remove lint filter and clean thoroughly under running water. Dry completely before reinstalling.
• Inspect entire exhaust path: disconnect vent hose from dryer and wall, remove all lint blockages from hose and exterior vent cap.
• Remove rear panel. Clean blower wheel, housing, and heating chamber of lint/debris using vacuum and soft brush.
• Test exhaust thermistor resistance per tE procedure. Replace using OEM part DC34-00040A if reading is inaccurate.
• Verify thermal fuse continuity on heater housing. Replace if open circuit (indicates prior overheating event).
• Check drum seals for excessive wear that could restrict airflow. Replace if damaged.
• Reassemble all components. estore power. Run cycle with exhaust vent disconnected temporarily to verify strong airflow before reconnecting vent system.
