How to Fix Refrigerator Error

SHUT OFF water supply valve and UNPLUG refrigerator.
Remove rear lower access panel.
Locate water inlet valve (solenoid assembly with 1/4″ water line input and 2 outputs).
Disconnect electrical connectors and water lines (have towels ready).
Remove mounting screws and extract valve assembly.
Test solenoid coils for continuity (should read 300-500 ohms each).
Replace entire valve assembly if either coil open or leaking.
Reconnect water lines hand-tight plus 1/4 turn, open supply valve slowly, check for leaks before restoring power.
Test dispenser and ice maker operation.
